Ingredients 250g (8oz) Honey 250g (8oz) Plain Flour 100g (3oz) Sugar 2 Eggs 10ml (0.3fl oz) Milk 1 packet of Yeast 1 packet of Vanilla Sugar
Christmas Biscuits Serves 6. Prep/Cooking time: 1 hour.
1-2 teaspoons of mix for Gingerbread (equal amounts of Cinnamon, Ginger, All Spice, Nutmeg, Ground Cloves)
1. Mix the flour with the yeast, sugar and spices. Heat the honey and pour over the mixture. Stir with a spoon and gradually add the milk and eggs. 2. Preheat oven to 160°C/Gas 3. 3. Put the mixture into a buttered loaf tin and bake for about 1 hour. 4. Wait for it to cool. Cut the gingerbread into thick slices. Cut out with cookie cutter shape of your choice and then decorate with white icing. Wait 24 hours before serving.
